JTBC’s I Will Find You When the Weather Is Nice has released photos from its first script read, starring Park Min-young (Her Private Life) and Seo Kang-joon (Watcher). It’ll be nice to have a heartwarming melo to watch this winter, and I Will Find You When the Weather Is Nice promises to be just that.

Park Min-young plays a woman who has been beaten down by city life and decides moves back to her hometown. She’s been hurt so many times by people that her heart has become frozen. Seo Kang-joon plays her old classmate who runs an independent bookstore, and when they meet again, they begin to fall in love.

It also looks like family will be a strong center point of healing. Moon Jung-hee (Vagabond) plays Park Min-young’s aunt who is filled with concerned questions because her niece never reveals anything about her inner life, and Jin Hee-kyung () plays her mother. On Seo Kang-joon’s side, Nam Ki-ae (Catch the Ghost) and Kang Shin-il (Doctor Prisoner) play his parents, and Kim Hwan-hee (Beautiful World) plays his energetic adolescent sister.

Furthermore, old friends seem to be important to the storyline as well. Im Se-mi (My Secret Terrius) plays Park Min-young’s former best friend. Emphasis on the “former,” as she lost Park’s trust due to an irrevocable mistake. Lee Jae-wook (Extraordinary You) couldn’t make it to the script reading but he will be playing Seo’s friend and classmate. Kim Young-dae (Extraordinary You) and Yang Hye-ji (Falling in Love) round out the supporting cast as former high school classmates of the lead pair.

Monday-Tuesday JTBC drama I Will Find You When the Weather Is Nice, directed by Han Ji-seung (Valid Love) and written by Han Ga-ram (Summer Days) will begin airing in February 2020.
