Mistaken identity is a common occurrence in dramas, but a case of mistaken self-identity is much less common. Our hapless, pushover of a protagonist, played by Yoon Shi-yoon, comes down with a severe case of mistaken self-identity that starts when he witnesses a murder. At the murder scene, Yoon Shi-yoon comes across a diary and flees the scene with it–but doesn’t get far. Neighborhood cop Jung In-sun accidentally hits him with her car as he’s running away. When he wakes up in a hospital, he’s lost a big chunk of his memories but has one clue to point him to who he was before: the diary. But flipping through it becomes a cause for concern because the diary belongs to a cold-blooded killer, literally. The diary leads him to make the jump that he’s a cold-blooded killer and it serves as a catalyst for a personality change, though it seems his inner good guy will keep popping out. Yoon Shi-yoon isn’t the only one who’s struggling with a new reality. His boss Park Sung-hoon seems like a chic, stoic man, but he’s actually more of a Korean Patrick Bateman (à la American Psycho). His imperturbable facade begins to crack following the loss of his incriminating diary. As he races to track down the location of his diary, Yoon Shi-yoon and Jung In-sun team up in an attempt to solve the string of murders Park has committed. It looks like we’re in for a heaping of humor alongside murder and mystery, so fingers crossed that we’ll get a madcap adventure.
