Actor Lee Moo-saeng (Designated Survivor: 60 Days) has confirmed his role in upcoming sci-fi romance drama Melt Me. A man, played by Ji Chang-wook (Suspicious Partner), and a woman, played by Won Jin-ah (Life) participate in a 24-hour cryogenic experiment that goes wrong, and they awake 20 years later.
For the drama, Lee Moo-saeng will play an elite KAIST graduate student who was working with a character named Dr. Hwang Gap-soo on the cryogenics research project as his assistant. To have been part of an experiment with such disastrous unintended consequences, I wonder how that would impact his budding career as a scientist, and I’m curious to see how he either helps or hinders Ji Chang-wook when he wakes up.
As for the actor himself, Lee Moo-saeng boasts a fourteen-year long filmography composed of popular movies and dramas like One Spring Night. He’s even collaborated with Ji Chang-wook before in Fabricated City. Yoon Se-ah (SKY Castle) and Lim Won-hee (Chief of Staff) are also confirmed for the drama.
tvN’s Melt Me will air sometime in the latter part of this year, after Arthdal Chronicles: Part 3.
