Now that we’ve settled into July, we’re starting to get the first of the many shows coming in this month. On Monday, we had the premiere of Designated Survivor: 60 Days, a remake of the American political series. And the drama is already performing much better than its predecessor Abyss, with its second episode garnering 4.2 percent.
There were no premieres for the Wednesday-Thursday time slots, and no major changes with its current dramas. While most are performing well, like Angel’s Last Mission, One Spring Night, and Search Query, nothing has hit double digits yet. And unfortunately, underdog My Absolute Boyfriend actually hit an all time low of 1.5 percent.
Finally, the weekend saw the premiere of OCN thriller Watcher, which garnered 3.0 percent. Numbers for the drama’s competitors Chief of Staff and Arthdal Chronicles went up a bit, while numbers for Different Dreams went down. Perhaps Different Dreams will lure more viewers in with its finale next week.
