There wasn’t much change in ratings this week, as most of our shows have found their niche. And while plenty of these shows are getting decent numbers, I’m still waiting for someone to hit the big 10 percent mark — a feat very difficult for the weekday dramas.
At the beginning of the week, we had Perfume and The Wind Blows stay on top, with the poor Secret Life of My Secretary still struggling around 3 to 4 percent. Then for Monday and Tuesday, we had Angel’s Last Mission and One Spring Night keep their top positions as well, with Search Query: WWW close behind.
The weekend, as usual, was a little more eventful, especially with the arrival of Chief of Staff. The political drama stars Shin Mina, returning from a two-year drama hiatus, and Lee Jung-jae, returning from a ten — count ’em, ten — year drama hiatus. And seeing that their premiere garnered 4.4 percent, viewers are happy to have them back in dramaland.
