Things seem to be looking up for a lot of dramas this week. Ratings for Monday-Tuesday drama The Light in Your Eyes jumped up a bit, and The Crowned Clown finally reached 10 percent! And though Haechi, a fellow sageuk, isn’t doing terrible, I’m surprised that it’s not doing better (especially considering that this is Jung Il-woo’s comeback).
For Wednesday and Thursdays, What’s Wrong Mr. Poong-sang and An Empress’s Dignity have been neck and neck, but the latter pulled in higher ratings with its finale. The final episode brought in 16.5 percent, not too far from the show’s highest rating at 17.9 percent (Episode 24). Over on the weekend, our latest priest drama continues getting high ratings, as does Romance is a Bonus Book. It’s nice to see a variety of shows getting lots of love.
