Kagunes are a bit weaker now than Quinques since Kakujas are disabled as they get reworked while CCG has Arata Proto/Joker V2s. Will also add notes for the new race Quinx if there’s interest.
The right Kagune or Quinque can make or break your gameplay, whether you’re diving deep into PVP or PVE. If you’re eyeing PVP power, you’ve landed in the right spot. Here’s my GHOUL://RE Kagune and Quinque tier list and guide.
GHOUL://RE Kagune Tier List
I’ve rated the Kagunes in GHOUL://RE with V1 and V2 versions laid out distinctly. Sometimes, a V2 dominates; other times, V1 takes the cake. Keep in mind that Half Kakuja and Full Kakuja modes play into the rankings as well. Let’s explore the Kagunes and what puts them in their respective spots.
Kakuja: Half and Full Kakujas are currently disabled while being revamped, so my ratings reflect pre-release versions.
S-Tier Kagune

• Eto is top-tier, arguably the best overall. Its damage output with the Frenzy meter and the Full Kakuja is legendary. The V1 is harder to parry, while the V2 lands some serious hits in team settings. |

• The Takizawas shine in 1v1 combats and are stellar in team fights. Learning to juggle moves can make all the difference. V1 is fast and killer for 1v1, while V2 offers more options and utility. |

• Don’t let its common status fool you; Beaked V2 shines in 1v1 matchups. Its M2 variations are top-tier for extending combos. |
 Nishio V2Common |
• Known for a skill-based defensive playstyle, Nishio V2 features great hyperarmor ensuring smooth escapes. Mixing offense and defense makes it unique in the battlefield. |
A-Tier Kagune

GHOUL://RE Quinque Tier List
GHOUL://RE CCG Quinques can be a tricky bunch to rank. Most shine well in combat, and Arata is accessible across the board. While some may seem like they’re in lower tiers, they often outperform Kagunes around the same level. Let’s break down Quinques one by one.
Proto vs Joker: In the Arata spectrum, Proto leans defense while Joker boosts DPS. Your choice hinges on your fighting style. If you find you’re getting hit often, Proto’s your ally; if you’re skilled at dodging, go with Joker. The V2 versions are robust upon release.
