The best news? This event will last for nearly 7 days! Now is the ideal opportunity to boost your levels and perhaps acquire the No-Life Rod or even the Seraphic Rod. If you already possess those, you might consider leveling beyond, but as you’ll soon discover, that may not be the wisest choice…
Unmissable Blue Moon Event
Craving more XP? The Blue Moon Event is your answer. It may activate during in-game Winter. You’ll notice it when the sky takes on a blue hue. We were fortunate enough to witness it during Spring, during a test phase by the developers.
During this event, you can explore two key locations:
- Snowcap Island in the First Sea
- Luchgrove in the Second Sea
In both areas, search for a door marked with a Moon Symbol to discover a fishing pool. Each Sea features its unique Blue Moon bestiary that you can complete, but your main goal is to collect Moon Idols.
Fishing up a Moon Idol grants you a fantastic +50% XP boost for 24 hours! That’s fantastic value. However, you’ll need to wait for Winter to truly make the most of this benefit.
Moreover, during Winter, be sure to purchase several Blue Moon Totems available at Luchgrove on Clear Winter Nights.
Complete Nine Mini Quests in the First and Second Sea
In both Seas, you can find nine NPCs offering quests (typically positioned near piers). Their requests often involve finding items, catching specific fish, or completing fishing tasks within a time limit; these are manageable challenges. Completing these quests is worthwhile as they yield excellent rewards, including Kraken Tentacle Bait.
AFK Mines Now Grant XP
Do you know about the Mine by Moosewood that many overlook? It’s the AFK Mines. The developers have made it so you can earn XP while AFK in the mine, along with increasing your Luck and providing access to rare items. For some reason, we encountered issues entering the mines (likely a bug), but the developers will undoubtedly rectify this soon. We’ll keep you updated on the XP you can earn from this feature.

We cannot delve too deeply into what these changes entail, but we can share the developers’ words:

While it’s uncertain whether this change will occur, time will reveal the outcome. Historically, the Second Sea remains a part of the game.
