In Universal Piece, Gems are your lifeblood—essential for obtaining weapons, powers, and even for engaging with the Fruit Gacha and Vendor. If you’re eager to gather Gems quickly, you’re in the right place. Here’s my complete guide on farming Gems efficiently.
As an avid player of Universal Piece, I’ve navigated every aspect of the game, and I can confidently share effective strategies that will help you amass a treasure trove of Gems.
How to Farm Gems in Universal Piece
The mid-to-late game in Universal Piece features high gem costs for gear and abilities. Fortunately, there are three primary methods to efficiently farm Gems:
- Boss Quests and Boss Quest Hopping (the quickest method).
- Raids (speedy and allows for additional resource farming).
- AFK Farming by Fishing at Starter Island (perfect for when you’re away).
While I’ll dive deeper into the first two methods, fishing is an excellent passive strategy for when you’re not actively playing. Boss quest hopping is easily accessible, offering quick gains, whereas Raids require special Keys, which I’ll explain how to obtain.
Boss Quest Gem Farming Method
While Fishing is straightforward, taking on Boss Quests can yield gems in a more time-efficient manner while also granting you valuable EXP. Boss quests tend to drop more Gems than standard quests, and defeating island bosses often leads to chests filled with even more loot. Here’s how you can make the most of Boss Quests:
- Target a lower-level island for quick clears or a level-appropriate island to gain EXP.
- Accept a mini boss quest or an island boss quest.
- Mini boss quests have a chance to drop Gems upon completion.
- Defeating island bosses will drop chests that can also contain Gems.
- I recommend focusing on quests in Cold Island (after Zombie Island) for maximum efficiency, particularly the Gasy Quest and Blizzard Queen Quests, as they may also reward you with Keys for Raids.
Raid Gem Farming Method
Joining Raids on Cold Island (post-Zombie Island) is a fantastic way to collect Gems, as each defeated enemy and boss provides a reward. You’ll need a Key to initiate Raids, which can be obtained from Gassy and Blizzard Queen bosses while undertaking respective quests. Raids consist of 6 slots, and here’s how you can join:
- Start a Raid by using a Key in front of the Raid building.
- Jump into a friend’s Raid from their location.
- Participate in a public Raid if slots are open (you’ll receive a global notification when a Raid begins).
Each Raid comprises 10 waves, with Gems dropping from every enemy defeated. For optimal results, I advise maximizing your Defense and one damage stat; achieving around 8000 to 10,000 in these stats will enable you to conquer Raids more easily.
Universal Piece Fishing Guide
You can engage in Fishing when you’re not actively playing for a steady, passive income of Gems in Universal Piece. Here’s how to set it up:
- Head to Starter Island.
- Exit the Mansion and proceed to the Docks.
- Purchase a Fishrod from the NPC located on the left.
- Stand in the Fishing spot and initiate Fishing (make sure the area is vacant).
- This will net you Gems approximately every dozen seconds or so!
