Understanding Verse Piece Swords

Swords serve as your primary damage source in Verse Piece, especially during late-game. They empower you with enhanced M1 attacks and various potent moves. Each sword typically features up to five moves (Z, X, C, V, F). Lower rarity swords usually have two to three moves, while Mythic and Exotic swords often come with four or more moves and significantly high damage output.

This tier list categorizes all swords in Verse Piece based on damage per second (DPS), M1 damage, AoE, and the extent of CC they provide. The DPS calculations consider each sword’s move cooldowns and channel times, but we only list the base damage for each sword’s moves below.

Top Swords in Verse Piece

Voidedge (Cid V3) stands out as the top sword in Verse Piece due to its remarkable M1 damage and long-lasting attacks that can control enemies effectively. Following closely, Lancer and Uryu exhibit the highest burst damage among all swords, making them equally powerful. Rowan offers substantial CC alongside impressive M1 damage, while Sung Jin Woo excels in bleed mechanics and decent M1 output. Although Cid V2 and Emiya have strong damage potential, they don’t match the overall DPS of other swords.

Swords ranked in the A tier, such as Toji V2, Red Mist, and Kokushibo, provide decent AoE capabilities and substantial damage, although slightly less than Cid V2.

Enhancing Swords in Verse Piece

To enhance your swords in Verse Piece, interact with the Blacksmith NPC located on Blacksmith Isle. Each upgrade requires one Enhance Stone, with only a 10% success rate. Generally, expect to use around 50 Enhance Stones to max out a sword.

Acquiring Enhance Stones

The best approach to gather Enhance Stones in Verse Piece involves starting to fish. Alternatively, you can trade for Enhance Stones or derive them from chests found around the map and dungeons. The most effective method is grinding Boss Rush dungeons. Each dungeon features five Bosses, all of which drop one or two chests upon defeat.
