The roar of the crowd faded as the spotlight hit him. Jason Momoa, the man who once ruled the seas, now stood poised to unleash a different kind of mayhem. He’s not Aquaman this time; word on the street is that Lobo is about to make a grand entrance. Let’s get into it.
Supergirl
Ever notice how some actors just *become* the character? Jason Momoa talking about Lobo has that vibe. In a recent chat with Screen Rant, he spilled some thoughts on his debut as Lobo in Supergirl and what might be next.
I only know Lobo’s in this one, and so we’ll see what the future of all that holds. I would love for his own thing to be coming out. I don’t know if there is. I think it’s probably up to the audience and how they feel about it, but I think he’s [James Gunn has] his own things mapped out and I’m not privy to any of that. I think everyone’s going to be… James’s career is just equal to what Zack [Snyder’s] done, what they’ve built and what their worlds are. They’re amazing directors world building. So I’m pretty excited. When I got to step into Lobo, I mean, that was a pinch me moment. And my first scene is pretty gnarly. I’m pressed to see another actor pull off that first take, what we did. I’m excited to talk about it because it’s hard. And I grabbed it with gusto and I’m very excited about it.
Luc Besson’s Dracula
Horror is back—or did it ever leave? Bloody-Disgusting says Luc Besson’s Dracula earned an “R” rating, thanks to “violence, some gore, and sexuality.” Sounds about right.
Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die
Ever get the feeling you’re reliving the same day? Sam Rockwell says his character is on his 117th try to fix things in a new Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die clip.
Scream 7
Directing a Scream movie? It is a whole different beast. Kevin Williamson gets personal about directing Scream 7 in a new behind-the-scenes peek.
Bowels of Hell
There’s something about everyday objects turning sinister that hits different. In Bowels of Hell, an apartment building’s toilets decide they’ve had enough and seek revenge.
Dolly
What’s creepier than a doll? How about a monster who wants to raise an adult woman like a child? That’s the setup for Dolly, hitting select theaters March 6.
Hawkeye
Sometimes, even the best plans fall apart. Wonder Man showrunner Andrew Guest (who also worked on Hawkeye) shared with The Direct that a second season of Hawkeye didn’t happen because of timing.
There was talk at a certain point… We did explore creatively what Season 2 of Hawkeye might be if we were able to do it. Unfortunately, the timing didn’t work out in terms of Marvel and all the various pieces that need to come together. But I loved working on Hawkeye, I think Renner and Hailee Steinfeld are so terrific together, and I would love to see more of those two.
Primal

Will Jason Momoa play Lobo again?
Momoa’s enthusiasm is like a lit fuse, but whether it ignites a full-blown Lobo series remains to be seen. The decision, he suggests, rests with the audience and with James Gunn’s master plan for the DC Universe. Gunn’s vision is the blueprint, and audience reaction acts as the final proof.
What made the Hawkeye Season 2 plans fall through?
Andrew Guest’s explanation paints a picture of Hollywood’s intricate dance. Creative ideas were there, but coordinating Marvel’s moving parts proved too difficult. It’s a reminder that even the most anticipated projects can stall due to timing complexities.
What is the tone of the new Dracula movie?
The “R” rating hints at a return to classic horror elements. Violence, gore, and sexuality suggest a film that doesn’t shy away from the darker aspects of the Dracula mythos. Are audiences ready for a Dracula that bites back with such ferocity?
