Remember those frantic group texts trying to figure out when the last event started? The Valentine’s Day 2026 event in Pokemon GO arrives on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, and lasts for 5 days. Here are the exact times so you won’t miss a minute:
- Start Date and Time: Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 10 AM local time
- End Date and Time: Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 8 PM local time
Once the Pokemon GO event concludes, participation and reward acquisition will no longer be possible.
Sweet Rewards: Valentine’s Day Event Bonuses
Imagine stumbling upon a treasure chest overflowing with goodies. The Valentine’s Day 2026 event feels a little like that, offering bonuses for Stardust, XP, increased Shiny rates, and more. Here’s a list of all bonuses:
- During the event, there will be a 2× XP bonus for catching Pokemon.
- You can also get 2x Stardust from opening gifts.
- There is an increased chance of encountering Shiny Female and Male Nidoran.
- There is also an increased chance to hatch Shiny Cherubi and Shiny Nidoran from eggs.

On top of that, you can give your Furfrou a fresh trim for the entire duration of the event. You’ll be able to change your Natural Form Furfrou to Heart Trim Furfrou using 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust.

Ever felt that rush of collective accomplishment? The Global Challenge during the Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day event is your chance to experience that. During the event, players can send gifts to others and bonuses will be given.
- Free Timed Research awarding encounters with Spinda with a heart pattern

Exclusive Move: Synchronoise
There’s always that one signature dish a chef is known for. The Valentine’s Day event offers a similar unique opportunity. Players can evolve Kirlia (from Ralts) during the event or up to four hours afterwards to get a Gardevoir or a Gallade (using a Sinnoh Stone ) that knows the following Charged Attack:
- Synchronoise (Psychic-type Charged Attack)
- Trainer Battles: 80 power
- Gyms and raids: 80 power

This is the legacy move of Gardevoir and Gallade and can be obtained only during the event. We recommend that you get at least three of them with the move, given they have a good IV.
