How do I solve the Zeus crest puzzle?

This is a short scavenger hunt across the Hercules Realm. Bring your Royal Shovel and Royal Pickaxe and use the list below so you don’t wander in circles.
- Six Hephaestus Coals — Dig black/orange coal piles; each gives two coal. Look: two piles by the fire pit used in the Speedrun Crash Course quest and one behind the crafting station near the crest. Extra spots are scattered, so you might find them sooner.
- 10 Orichalcum Ore — Mine large dark grey/orange rock spots; each yields two ores. Notable spawns: two near the crafting station by the crest, one near the right-side cliff lever, and several in the dark woods above.
- 10 Greek Marble Fragments — Mine Greek column rock spots; each drop is about three fragments. Check the cliff where you met Hercules and the higher dark woods.

Hit the large dark-grey ore nodes for Orichalcum; Greek column rock spots drop Marble. Focus on the crafting station area and the dark woods to speed the run.
The forge smells of hot metal and coal. Forge the Golden Bracers
Return to the temple entrance and use the crafting station near the crest. Open the crafting menu and click the Hercules quest icon to create the Golden Bracers. Place them on the Zeus Pedestal beside Hercules as an offering.
The valley’s path still smells of smoke from the campfires. Return to the Valley and ask the villagers for some good dad jokes
The offering alone won’t coax lightning. You need Zeus to laugh, and that means bringing back a punchline or two. Use the sparkling exit behind Phil to warp to the main valley, then collect jokes from these villagers:
- Scrooge McDuck
- Goofy
- Merlin
Talk to all three, then head back to the Hercules area and report to Hercules. Choose the joke you like best; Zeus will strike the Golden Bracers with lightning. Pick them up and equip them—the Bracers electrify your Royal Pickaxe.

With the Golden Bracers equipped, swing your Royal Pickaxe at the two rocks blocking the gate—each takes two swings. After the rocks fall, break the lock on the front gate with the pickaxe and step inside.
Inside, speak with Phil and Hercules to finish Thunderstruck. The next quest, A Real Godly Mess, will activate and push the story forward toward recruiting Hercules and Phil to your Valley.
How do I get the Golden Bracers to work?
Make sure you crafted the Bracers, placed them on the Zeus Pedestal, gathered three jokes from Scrooge, Goofy, and Merlin, then returned to Hercules to trigger the lightning strike. If nothing happens, retrace those steps—most failures come from a missed conversation or an uncollected item.
