I stepped out of the tree portal with my pockets full of Moonstones and a stubborn feeling that three friends were hiding just out of sight. You can sense when a game closes a door and waits for you to find the key. Honeyglow Woods was a locked diary I hadn’t earned the key for.
A mailbox can change your whole afternoon — how to get Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet in Disney Dreamlight Valley Honeyglow Woods
I’ll walk you through the exact, linear path I used so you don’t waste hours chasing dead ends. You must recruit them in order: Winnie the Pooh, then Eeyore, then Piglet. The sequence matters because each character’s missions and house requirements unlock the next piece of the story.
- Buy the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack (see stores below).
- Place the Honeyglow Woods tree portal by using the Tree Sprout from your mailbox.
- Follow Winnie the Pooh’s quests and build his house to invite him.
- Complete Eeyore’s quests and build his house to get him to join.
- Finish Piglet’s quests and build Piglet’s house to bring Piglet home.

How do I get Winnie the Pooh in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
Winnie the Pooh appears after you enter Honeyglow Woods and progress through the area’s main storyline. Your first stop is Drowsybloom Acres; complete Pooh’s quest chain and construct his house to invite him to your Valley. Think of the quests as a short campaign that restores sunlight to the zone — finish it and Pooh becomes available to recruit.
A receipt can tell you which evenings will be ruined or saved — purchase the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack
I’ve bought DLC on impulse and set aside hours for it, so I won’t pretend the purchase is trivial. Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet are exclusive to this Adventure Pack; there’s no other official route to bring them into your Valley.
The standalone pack costs $16.99 (€17) and includes the Honeyglow Woods area plus 2,000 Moonstones. You can also buy a bundle (base game + Honeyglow Woods + 10,000 Moonstones) for $49.99 (€46). Platforms that sell the pack include the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Steam, Epic Games Store, and console storefronts supported by Gameloft and Disney.
Do I need to buy the Honeyglow Woods DLC?
Yes — the trio is locked behind the Adventure Pack. If you want Pooh, Eeyore, or Piglet in your village, this is the only official purchase that makes them appear.
A sapling on a kitchen counter can start an entire weekend — grow the Honeyglow Woods tree portal
After installing the pack, check your mailbox for a letter titled “A VERY IMPORTANT PARCEL!!!” and a Tree Sprout attached to it. Place the Tree Sprout as furniture or plant it; either action triggers a cutscene where a magical tree portal grows.

Enter the portal to reach Drowsybloom Acres. From there, progress through the area’s main questline: help Pooh, restore light to parts of Honeyglow Woods, complete character-specific tasks, and build each character’s house to formally invite them to your Valley.
What order do I get Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet?
The order is fixed: Winnie the Pooh first, Eeyore second, Piglet third. Each recruitment path opens the next — finish Pooh’s missions and his house, then the Eeyore thread will become available, and so on.
Small details matter: save before big choices, spend Moonstones carefully (the pack gives a boost), and check the in-game social board for mission markers. Rescuing Piglet became a lost note tucked into a winter coat; it’s easy to miss if you rush.

So — are you going to let a little DLC change how your Valley feels, or leave Pooh and friends waiting at the garden gate?
