I clicked the Item Shop and my squad froze — the Predator Badlands banner was a warning flare. You can feel the clock ticking the moment a collab lands. I’ll walk you through the exact moves so you don’t miss Dek.
I opened Fortnite and saw Dek staring from the shop; calm players turned to instant decisions.
Dek from the 2025 Predator Badlands film arrived in Fortnite with update 42.40 and dropped into the Item Shop on October 28, 2026. Epic Games pushed this as the final Fortnitemares 2026 collab — if you want the Yautja look and Thia at your back, here’s how you grab it.
- Launch Fortnite and tap the Item Shop tab.
- Scroll until you find the Fortnitemares section and the Predator banner.
- Select the Dek Outfit (1,500 V-Bucks) or the full Predator Bundle (2,000 V-Bucks).
- Hold the Purchase button to confirm.
- The Dek cosmetics (or the bundle contents) appear in your Locker after purchase.
Small note from me: Thia — the Android played by Elle Fanning in Predator Badlands — appears as the Back Bling. It’s a faithful render and a neat touch if you’re into character accuracy.
When was Predator Badlands Dek skin released in Fortnite?
Released October 28, 2026. I watched the drop happen in the middle of a normal session; one minute we were trading builds, the next the shop full of Yautja kit changed the vibe.
My group argued over value while counting V-Bucks; wallets quietly declared their stance.
Epic bundled Dek items to let you buy the whole set cheaper than buying each cosmetic separately. Below is a practical breakdown so you can decide fast.
| Cosmetics | Price |
|---|---|
| Predator Bundle (Includes all cosmetics) | 2,000 V-Bucks — approx. $15.99 (€15) |
| Dek Outfit + Predator’s Sword Slash Emote | 1,500 V-Bucks — approx. $11.99 (€11) |
| Thia Back Bling | 600 V-Bucks — approx. $4.79 (€5) |
| Dek’s Plasma Sword Pickaxe | 800 V-Bucks — approx. $6.39 (€6) |
| Predator’s Sword Slash Emote | 300 V-Bucks — approx. $2.39 (€2) |
How much does the Predator Badlands Dek skin cost in the Fortnite Item Shop?
The Dek Outfit alone is 1,500 V-Bucks (about $11.99, €11). If you want everything tied to the collab, the Predator Bundle runs 2,000 V-Bucks (about $15.99, €15) — usually the smarter move if you use cosmetics often or stream on platforms like Twitch.
I kept one eye on the item-rotation timer while I decided; the clock in the corner of the shop is a scalpel, cutting the window down.
Cosmetics from collabs rotate out. For this Dek drop, Epic listed the items to leave the shop on November 4, 2026 — a tight window after the Treasure Hunters mini-season starts. If you want the bundle, don’t sit on the purchase until the last day and risk forgetting or overspending later.
When does the Predator Badlands Dek skin leave the Fortnite Item Shop?
Dek and associated Predator Badlands cosmetics rotate out on November 4, 2026. If you miss it, you’ll likely wait for a rerun; Epic’s collaborations usually return but not always on a predictable schedule.
Quick tips from someone who tracks collabs: buy the bundle if you plan to use more than one item, sync purchases with any V-Bucks deals in the Epic Store or console stores, and link your Epic account to any loyalty platforms you use to avoid payment hiccups.
So — are you buying Dek and entering Fortnitemares with predator precision or waiting for a possible rerun and risking regret?
