I walked into the Underground Music Venue and felt the room tighten — the stage was a locked diary. You can almost hear NPCs whispering their own agendas. I’ll show you the smallest, fastest route to the Tormentor so you don’t waste a slot on guesswork.
Where to Find Tormentor NPC in Fisch (Oppressor Rod Quest)
Old venues always smell faintly of sweat and cheap coffee, and that sensory clue tells you the crowd has moved on. I’ll keep this lean: find the hidden auditorium, trigger the right weather, and the path opens. You’ll be using names you already know — Ken Carson, Duskwire, Elder Kaido / Elder Kao, and Skycrest — but the timing is everything.
How to Find Fisch Tormentor NPC Location
In real shows, the stage tells you where the action will be; in Fisch it hides where the quest begins. Head into the Underground Music Venue in Fisch and go to the main stage. Ken Carson stands center stage; to his left is a black guitar labeled the Duskwire Rod. Click that guitar to be teleported into the secret blue auditorium.
The catch: the Duskwire Rod only activates during the Tropical Squall weather event. Buy a Tropical Squall Totem from Elder Kaido / Elder Kao’s weekly rotating shop on Skycrest for 800,000 C$ (€536,000), then use the totem from your inventory to spawn Tropical Squall. When the skies change, hit the Duskwire and the door opens.
How do you reach the Tormentor NPC in Fisch?
Enter the Underground Music Venue, trigger Tropical Squall with the totem from Skycrest, then click the Duskwire Rod beside Ken Carson on stage. That teleports you straight to the hidden auditorium where Tormentor waits.
How to Start Oppressor Rod Quest Fisch
Backstage passes in real shows are often paper thin — one small badge changes everything.
Once you’re inside the blue auditorium, speak with Tormentor to start the Oppressor Rod quest. There’s one gating item: you must be wearing the Dusk title to initiate dialogue. To earn the Dusk title, complete the Duskwire mastery task: Perfect Catch 200 fish using the Duskwire.
The Duskwire became a lighthouse in the fog — it guides both fishing mastery and this quest thread — so if you’ve been using it for practice, you’re already halfway there.
What do you need to start the Oppressor Rod quest in Fisch?
You need to arrive in the hidden auditorium during Tropical Squall and be wearing the Dusk title before you can talk to Tormentor and accept the quest.
If you’ve already hit the blue room and still missed Tormentor, what odd workaround did you try that actually worked for you?
