Valorant Hush (Agent 31) Guide: Abilities, Ultimate & Tips

The first time I detonated Hush’s orb inside a packed A-site, my team went silent and my pulse jumped. Enemies hung in the air, weapons useless, giving me a clear ten seconds to turn chaos into a round win. I wrote down what worked and what got me killed so you don’t have to learn the hard way.

All Valorant Hush Abilities Explained

Observation: In ranked matches you’ll notice players using small mechanical advantages to win big fights.

I play agents to understand the physics behind their tools, and Hush is a physics exam you can study. She blends telekinesis with long-distance mobility and guided projectiles; that mix makes her part Duelist, part Initiator, and entirely high-skill. Read each ability as a tool in your kit — how it frees space, forces angles, or steals objectives.

Telekinesis (Passive / F)

Align your crosshair and press F to pull weapons, the Spike, or hit map switches from roughly 36–37 meters away. Cooldown: 30 seconds.

The pull requires line-of-sight — it won’t reach through smoke or solid walls, but items will phase through a closing door if you time the trigger and grab quickly. Use it to secure the Spike, steal an Operator off a dead teammate, or flip a rotation by grabbing a key weapon across the map.

Flow (C)

Observation: Players who win duels often have better movement tools than their opponents.

Place an anchor and dash to it. Flow is Valorant’s longest dash: aim at the ground for fast slides, jump before dashing for high aerial entries, or use mid-air aiming to curve around obstacles. Treat Flow like a scalpel — precise positioning beats brute force.

Techniques: pull your crosshair down mid-dash to cut momentum and hit the ground sooner; jump then dash for a quick slide into cover; aim anchors at 30–45° against walls to create unreactable peeks. Flow is what separates confident entries from overcommits.

Flashbulb (Q)

Observation: A well-timed flash changes a fight faster than raw aim.

Equip a guidable flash. Left-click to throw, right-click to prime it on your shoulder while keeping your weapon out, then press Q again to redirect it toward your crosshair before it detonates. Bounce it off walls, set up one-ways, or prime it before Flow to blind defenders the moment you appear.

Pro tip: watch for Agent 29 Veto’s Interceptor — it eats Flashbulb mid-flight. Use teammate utility (Skye, Phoenix, or KAY/O) to force out counters before risking a full entry with your flash.

Displacement (E)

Observation: Pull effects force opponents into predictable positions fast.

Equip a gravity projectile that follows the same fire/redirect mechanics as Flashbulb. When it detonates it pulls players toward the center; the ability refreshes every two kills. The pull doesn’t stun by itself — a concussion happens only if enemies slam into a wall, box, or another player. You can throw it at your feet to sling yourself out of awkward corners.

Displacement becomes a magnet that drags the fight into your crosshair — use it to yank duelists off angles, collapse smokes, or create multi-kill windows when teammates trade.

Suspension (X) – Ultimate

Observation: Game-changing ultimates remove options from opponents and force cover commitments.

Fire a guided orb that travels toward your crosshair; reactivate to detonate and lift caught enemies into the air, disarming them and preventing weapon or ability use. The orb will detonate the moment it touches any walkable surface, but it can brush along vertical walls without popping. Note: Veto’s Interceptor destroys Suspension as well, so keep track of counters before committing.

Use Suspension to freeze clutches, deny defuses, or create a window for your AWPer. You are immune to your own ultimate, so you can aim, dash into the thick of it, and detonate at your feet to levitate everyone around you while you shoot.

What role is Hush in Valorant?

Hush is officially a Duelist with Initiator tools — she’s built to create space and start fights while still playing like a fragger. Riot Games positions her for aggressive entries and objective control, which is why you’ll see pro teams test her on both attack and defense during VCT play.

When was Hush released in Valorant?

Hush arrived with Season 26, Act VI on October 27, 2026, and hit public servers the same day. Patch notes and developer commentary were published on Riot’s website and Riot’s social channels, so check those for balance history and nerf/booster details.

Is Hush a good agent for beginners in Valorant?

No. Hush’s kit asks you to manage projectile redirects, prep timers, and nuanced dash physics — it rewards practice, not raw comfort. If you stream on Twitch or record clips with OBS or NVIDIA ShadowPlay, capture your early games; reviewing footage is the fastest path from confusing deaths to disciplined plays.

Best Tips and Tricks to Master Valorant Agent Hush

Observation: The players who climb fastest practice one mechanic until it becomes muscle memory.

I coach players and test setups on both casual and ranked, and these tactics repeat across maps. Each tip is a habit you can train in Deathmatch, custom lobbies, or while reviewing VODs from pro matches.

  • Dual-Prep Before Entries: Right-click to prime both Flashbulb and Displacement on your shoulder while keeping your gun ready. Time those preps so they don’t expire. Then Flow into site and trigger both for a simultaneous blind-and-pull combo.
  • Dash Tech (Quick Slide, Pagani Peek & Momentum Cut): Pull your crosshair down mid-dash to drop faster. For a quick slide, jump before Flow and hold crouch at the apex. To create an unreactable peek, aim Flow at 30–45° along a wall and let momentum carry you past the corner.
  • Use the Minimap to Guide Redirects: Redirected flashes and gravity rounds travel straight toward your facing. Watch the minimap to time redirections around corners. On defense, pre-prime Displacement to pull aggressive duelists out of smokes or off ledges on maps like Abyss.
  • Dive-Bomb With Ultimate Immunity: Fire Suspension, fast-dash into the fight, and detonate at your feet — you can shoot while enemies hang. Coordinate this with an AWPer for instant multi-kill potential.
  • Deny Revives and Steal Objectives: Use Telekinesis to grab a dead teammate’s primary from up to 36m; when they resurrect they’ll only have a Classic. You can also flip switches from across maps like Lotus or Ascent to mess with rotation timings.
  • Bait Veto’s Interceptor: Agent 29 counters almost all of Hush’s projectiles. If Veto is live, play slower: have teammates throw rechargeable utility (Skye, Phoenix) to force the Interceptor before you commit with a loud ultimate.

Practice these combos in custom lobbies and review clips from pro matches on YouTube or VODs from the VCT to see high-level sequencing. Also copy crosshair codes from streamers who play Hush to reduce aim friction while you learn her movement and timing. If you want cleaner clips, use OBS or NVIDIA GeForce Experience to capture key rounds for self-review.

Hush rewards patience, rehearsal, and map knowledge — will you make her the agent that breaks enemy setups or the one your opponents bait into traps?
