Fortnite Treasure Hunters: All New Sprites Right Now

Fortnite Treasure Hunters: All New Sprites Right Now

I landed at Shipwreck Shore, opened three chests, and two Sprites decided to announce themselves like spoiled passengers. I froze—one pinged the map and another gifted a shield burst—and I realized the mini season had rewritten the loot rules. You’ll want to know which Sprites matter and where to pull them from before the next hot drop turns them into common sight.

I’ve tracked these updates through patch notes and matches since Fortnite update 43.00; I’ll walk you through what I’ve tested, what the community on Fortnite.GG and YouTube (notably Perfect Score) is saying, and how to prioritize your hunts.

How Many New Sprites Are There in Fortnite Treasure Hunters Right Now?

Observation: I counted Sprites mid-match after update 43.00 and logged each one to the collection screen.

As of Fortnite update 43.00 (November 1, 2026) there are 35 Sprites active in Treasure Hunters, including 13 Base variants. Almost every new entry ties into the Fortnite x One Piece collaboration—one oddball Sprite is outside that run. If you’re cataloging for completion, that 35 is your target for now; Epic Games is likely to add more across the Mini Season and the Nov. 12, 2026 update.

How to Get Sprites in Fortnite Treasure Hunters

Observation: In one match I watched a teammate pick up a Wanted Poster and sprint straight to a buried chest.

You can collect Sprites several ways, but two methods dominate fast farming runs. I favor the chest-searching approach for steady gains; the poster/treasure-map route is your ticket to rarer finds.

How do I get Sprites in Fortnite Treasure Hunters?

Search Chests — The passive, reliable method: Sprites appear when you open regular chests and supply drops. Treat chest-runs like a metal detector on a crowded beach; you’ll find some obvious pings and the occasional unexpected prize.

Interacting With Wanted Posters — This is newer and can yield Sprites not in your collection. Spot a poster, interact, get a Sprite Treasure Map, then dig up the Buried Sprite Chest and claim the Sprite. Those buried chests often give Sprites you’re missing; the payoff is worth the detour.

Where to Find Wanted Posters and Buried Sprite Chests (Map Locations)

Observation: Posters cluster around POIs while buried chests tend to hide near obvious landmarks.

Wanted Posters spawn across the Treasure Hunters map but are concentrated in and around Points of Interest. Use the community maps on Fortnite.GG to plot efficient routes. If you find a Lucky Locator, it points you toward a buried Sprite chest that drops a Sprite not yet in your collection—opening one feels like finding a rare coin in your pocket.

Where are Wanted Posters to find Sprites in the Fortnite map locations?

Posters: spawn near POIs and on main travel arteries. If you push central POIs early, you’ll sweep a lot of posters and maps before the mid-game skirmishes heat up.

All Sprite Variants and What They Do

Observation: I tested Base and Fortune variants to compare how much a variant shifts gameplay in a single run.

There are currently two Sprite variants active: Fortune and Cursed, with Gold variants returning on Nov. 12, 2026. The table below shows what each variant grants so you can choose a variant that matches your playstyle.

Gold Sprites are scheduled to return on Nov. 12. If you prefer streaming guides, check Fortnite channels on YouTube and community posts on Fortnite.GG for route uploads and early testing notes.

Quick Strategy Notes and What To Prioritize

Observation: In a final rush I switched from hunting posters to chest-only runs and still picked up three unique Sprites before the end circle.

If you want efficient progress: prioritize Wanted Posters near high-traffic POIs early, then pivot to chest loops as the storm moves. Equip Exmarks or Wayfinfer if you want more maps and buried-chest value; equip Chester or Sweet Dreams if extra loot per chest is your win condition. I recommend syncing with your squad on Transponder Snail to get shared resource gains when you can.

That’s the current state of Sprites in Treasure Hunters. Which Sprite will you chase first—will you hunt for utility or hoard the ones that hand out Mythic items?
