I watched Superior Iron Man stand in my hand and realize he no longer fought for good. You can feel the room tilt when a hero flips; I felt it in the same quiet way you notice a clock running backwards. I’ll show you when each card drops, where to grab it, and why your deck will not be the same.
I’m someone who pays attention to patch notes, art reveals from Second Dinner, and Twitch drop schedules. You’ll get the roadmap, crisp reads on each card, and a few deck ideas you can test in Draft when it returns on Sept. 28.
My calendar has sticky notes for every Tuesday. The weekly release roadmap you can use

When does AXIS: Inversion start?
Starts the first week of September and runs through the month, with staggered content so Second Dinner can feed Twitch drops, the Premium and Super Premium Pass lanes, Series 5 Snap Packs, and two limited events (Team Clash and Draft). If you follow the Marvel Snap official Twitter or the in-game news panel, you’ll catch exact drop windows and variant reveals.
How do I get the new cards?
There are four primary paths: the Premium Pass, the Super Premium Pass, Series 5 Snap Packs, and limited events (Team Clash and Draft). Twitch drops will hand out a Premium Mystery Variant at times during the season; follow the Marvel Snap channel and link your Twitch account to the game to be eligible. Series 5 content is distributed by pack and event rewards, so play the modes that drop the cards you want.
My ladder is already full of surprise losses. How these flips change play and scoring
Heroes turning into villains is more than cosmetic — it rewrites synergies. Superior Iron Man doubles down on self-buff loops, making cost-shrink and power-growth decks threaten entire lanes. Anti-Polar Magneto spreads mid-to-high cost cards across the board, and Kluh manipulates costs for both players, which punishes greedy hand management.
Red Onslaught brings unpredictable Ongoing text combinations. The Inversion spell targets low-power anchors and will make clever plays on Sept. 28’s Draft return, which ships with a revamped scoring system designed to reward lane control and adaptive drafting.
The season is a coin flipped into a blender. The meta will splinter as players test inverted synergies and exploit oddball interactions in ranked and Draft.
Twitch and Second Dinner are central here: follow their channels for drop alerts, variant previews, and event timers, and keep an eye on community hubs like the Marvel Snap subreddit and top streamers who run test decks live.
There’s a lot to chase every week — premium cosmetics, event-only cards, and new scoring in Draft — so which side do you want to be on when heroes stop behaving like heroes?
