I almost missed it on my second pass. You freeze on the ridge, wind stealing the footsteps, and a lone shard of melody winks from the sand. That small, stubborn thing will redirect your run.
You can collect three Music Disc Fragments across the Desert map in Far Far West. The map is available from the start, the fragments keep their spots between runs, and once you assemble all three you can claim the Train Rush track from the in-game store.

All Music Disc Fragment locations in Far Far West
I stooped, brushed sand aside, and found the first piece where a single tree shaded a rock.
There are three fixed fragment spots on the Desert map. You can pick them up in any order, across multiple runs, and they won’t move. Think of the map as an old vinyl record with three grooves that always lead to the same notes.
- Central Oasis Mountain — In the middle of the Desert, an open mountain sits inside an oasis ringed by trees. The fragment rests in the open on the crest (marked “1” in the image).
- Northeastern Pyramids — Head to the pyramid complex in the northeast. Enter through the northern side entrance and take the central chamber to reach the fragment on the pyramids’ top.
- Eastern Wooden Tower — On the east edge of the map a wooden tower rises above the dunes. Climb the ladder and you’ll find the fragment at the top.
Where are the Music Disc Fragments located?
You’ll find one in the oasis mountain, one atop the NE pyramids (north entrance), and one on the eastern tower. The image above shows their positions if you need a quick visual marker.
Can I collect fragments across multiple runs?
Yes. I picked one on my first run, missed the second, and found the last two later. The fragments are persistent between runs, so you can chip away at the set whenever you have time.
How to claim and play the Train Rush track
I checked the vendor after my third pickup and the track was waiting where weapons change hands.
Once you have all three fragments, the Train Rush track appears in the in-game store near the Weapons Vendor. You can purchase or access it there and play it from the store menu. If you want social proof or route ideas, community clips on YouTube and threads on Steam and Discord show every approach, and the screenshot above came from Moyens I/O’s coverage.
How do I access the track after collecting fragments?
After assembling all fragments you’ll find the track in the store menu by the Weapons Vendor. Open the store, select the music tab, and the track should be listed for claiming or purchase.
The fragments sit like coins on a windowsill: simple, visible, and easy to miss if you’re rushing—will you methodically sweep the Desert or let the sand dictate your next run?
