Complete Guide to Special Evolutions in LumenTale: Memories of Trey

I leveled Quidvil to 30 and waited by my phone as the world outside went quiet. Midnight passed on my watch and the AniWiki’s “Special” hint still felt like a tease. That tiny moment taught me one thing: the game hides small rules that change everything.

I write guides because I waste time so you don’t have to. You and I both want a clean AniWiki entry list and fewer wasted hours guessing the right weather, item, or timing. Read these notes, and you’ll stop repeating the same mistakes I made on my first playthrough.

All special evolutions in LumenTale

On a coffee run I found myself staring at the AniWiki’s “Special” label and thinking, “That’s not helpful.”

The AniWiki inside the LMD will show you when a species needs something more than a level. Sometimes it gives a hint; sometimes it’s maddeningly vague. Below I list every Animon that requires an extra condition to evolve — the exact trigger, the timing, and any consumed items — so you can stop experimenting and start finishing entries.

The AniWiki can feel like a locked diary. If you prefer community tools, the LumenTale Discord and Reddit threads move fast; Moyens I/O, GameFAQs, and dedicated wiki contributors act as reliable second opinions.

How do I evolve Quidvil?

Get Quidvil to level 30, then wait until real-world midnight to trigger the evolution. The game checks your system clock, so on Steam or Nintendo Switch the device time matters. If you use Cloud Saves, double-check the console/PC clock rather than relying on an online clock.

What items do I need for Lampalite and Crimson Horn?

Both Lampalite and Crimson Horn can be found in the world or crafted at a fountain if you have the listed ingredients. Scroll to the item table below for exact recipes, or join the LumenTale Discord and swap crafting tips; community traders on Reddit often list exact spawn locations faster than wikis update.

All evolution items crafting recipes

At a fountain I watched a late-night player trade ingredients for a Crimson Horn and swear it was worth the detour.

Some evolution items are rare spawns; others are cheap if you gather the right materials and use fountain crafting. The table below shows each evolution item, what it does, and the ingredients required. If you prefer tracking spreadsheets, export your inventory to CSV or use a community Google Sheet shared on Discord to manage materials.

Design Effect Ingredients
A mushroom dripping in green goop with a pink flame on top of itCandleshroom Evolves Owaxle into Nefandle. 1 Anivite EX1 Emerald30 Mushrooms

A long pointy helmet with a diamond-shaped cutout where eyes would beZord Helmet When all 3 Toypette variations are in the user’s party, they combine to evolve into Anizord. 5 Anivite EX1 Diamond100 Plastic5 Ruby5 Sapphire5 Topaz

Practical tips: harvest Mushrooms and Crustaceans around tide pools, farm Glass and Plastic from salvage nodes, and mark the spawn points on your map. If you want automation, try a simple spreadsheet or the Discord bot that tracks ingredient donations in community servers.

Some evolutions feel sudden, others happen only after a series of small, repeatable actions — they behave like a slow fuse. Use the tables above as your checklist and save before the trigger; some evolutions consume items or entire party members, and I regret the ones I didn’t save scummed for.

Note: This article is a work in progress. We will continue to update it with more evolutions as we find them. Know of one we missed? Email us at [email protected]!
