Satyrical Theater quest walkthrough in Disney Dreamlight Valley
I walked into Phil’s living room and thought, of course the curtains are crooked. You can see the same grin he wears in the animated shorts and you know he means business. I promised I’d help him build a Greek-style stage — and you should expect to work for it.
How to complete Satyrical Theater in Disney Dreamlight Valley
On any small-town project the first hour is always the planning hour.
You start this quest the moment Phil arrives from the Hercules Realm and your friendship hits level two. He hands you the Satyrical Theater assignment: a string of fetch tasks, one cooking job, a two-item treasure hunt, and a small crafting challenge before the final performance. Think of this guide as the roadmap that keeps you from running in circles across the valley.
How do I start the Satyrical Theater quest?
Meet Phil in the Plaza once he moves into the village and raise his friendship to level two; the quest triggers from his dialogue. If you play on Nintendo Switch, Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox the flow is identical — community threads on Steam and coverage on Moyens I/O are good cross-checks if something feels off.
Gather resources for Goofy
Most home-renovation efforts begin with a trip to the hardware aisle.
Phil asks you to collect supplies for Goofy so he can build a proper stage. Here’s what you’ll need and where to find it fast:
- 10 Stone — Mine rock nodes across the valley and DLC areas like Storybook Vale or Wishblossom Ranch. Break small/large stone obstacles or occasionally buy from Kristoff’s stall.
- 10 Softwood — Pick up Softwood on the ground near trees in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, and Ancient’s Landing. It also drops from tree trunk obstacles and sometimes appears for sale at Kristoff’s stall.
- 5 Sand — Dig in Dazzle Beach, Glittering Dunes, or Glamour Gulch. Clearing coral obstacles can yield Sand, and Kristoff might sell some.
- 5 Seaweed — Fish in open water around the main valley or in the Wild Tangle. You can also convert Red Algae into Seaweed at any crafting station.

Deliver the stack to Goofy when you have everything and he’ll start hammering away. That hands the mission back to Phil and opens the next task.
Talk to Remy
Real kitchens hum with the same urgent chaos no matter where you find them.
Phil wants an edible prop and Remy is the obvious choice. Track him down and chat — he’ll suggest a themed dish that fits the Greek motif, then ask you to prepare it himself.
Cook the Greek Pizza
Cooking is one of those chores that rewards planning as much as luck.
Remy’s recipe calls for a simple five-ingredient combination. Bring these to any cooking station and produce a five-star Greek Pizza:
- Tomato
- Onion
- Wheat
- Cheese
- Any Spice
What ingredients are needed for Greek Pizza?
Collect common farm crops and pantry staples; you can grow Wheat or buy at market stalls, and Cheese is crafted from Milk. This dish is forgiving, so focus on quality ingredients to hit the five-star result.

Bring the finished pizza to the house Phil shares with Hercules and deliver it to both Phil and Remy for the next cue.
Talk to Scrooge McDuck
Old-school performers live for a good role even if it means dressing up.
Phil wants Scrooge for a part in the play — find him, start the conversation, and confirm whether he’ll audition. This is quick, but it adds a bit of personality to the cast list.
Find the two Drama Masks
Lost props are always tucked where you last ignored them during a rush.
Return to the Hercules Realm and hunt for two Drama Masks: the Mask of Comedy and the Mask of Tragedy. They are fixed spawns, so once you know where to look you won’t waste time.
- Mask of Comedy — Near the base of the large stone pillar on the right as you enter the Hercules Realm.
- Mask of Tragedy — Under the tree by the left side of the pond near the large waterfall, in the same general area you visited during the Moonlighting as a Hero quest.
Where are the drama masks in the Hercules Realm?
Both masks are static spawns: one at the pillar to your right on entry, the other tucked under the tree beside the waterfall pond. If you play on Steam Deck or Switch, set a waypoint as soon as you land to save travel time.

Gather resources to craft a Training Mannequin
Big builds always need lumber, and lumber takes time to gather.
For Phil’s Training Mannequin you’ll need:
- 5 Hardwood — Found near trees in Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, Frosted Heights, and in the Pixie Acres DLC area.
- 3 Red Bell Flowers — Grow wild around the Forest of Valor.
- 3 Red Falling Penstemon — Found around the Plaza.
When you’ve collected everything, craft the Mannequin at any crafting station under the Phil quest icon. Then walk it over and report to Phil.
Add decorations to the stage
Good stages are tidy; bad stages have props strewn about like lost receipts.
Approach the back wall of Phil’s house and interact with the sparkles to place the Training Mannequin and the two Drama Masks. This step physically completes the set dressing and moves you toward the final act.

Bring a Theatrical Invitation to some villagers
Invites work better when they’re personal and hand-delivered.
Phil asks you to deliver Theatrical Invitations to three villagers: Merlin, Mickey Mouse, and Remy. Track them down, hand over the invites, then return to Phil’s house and speak with Scrooge McDuck to kick off the play.
Free Phil from the cage
Final acts often demand one last physical gesture to close the story.
When the scripted chaos puts Phil in the cage you’ll need to free him. Equip a Royal Pickaxe and strike the cage to break it open. Talk to Phil once he’s out to wrap the quest and collect your goodwill — and some friendship experience.
If you prefer watching someone else run the full sequence, search YouTube clips or streamers on Twitch for the Satyrical Theater run; speedrunners sometimes shave minutes off the route and mention platform-specific quirks like loading times on Steam Deck and Switch. Remember: the fastest route is rarely the most fun — Phil wanted this because he loves a good show, not a quick checklist.
Phil’s dream is now on its feet, the audience is seated, and you carried the props, cooked the food, found the masks, and freed the director — who’s delivering the next line, in your opinion, better than Phil or worse?
