Grecian Urn Quest Walkthrough — Disney Dreamlight Valley Guide

Grecian Urn Quest Walkthrough — Disney Dreamlight Valley Guide

The air smells of dust and theatre curtains; Hercules stands over a pile of painted pottery and you feel the game tilt. The Grecian Urn sat in fragments, a shattered constellation at Phil’s feet. I’ve guided players through cleaner rescues — you’ll learn the shortcuts so this one doesn’t eat your afternoon.

I’ll walk you through every step in plain terms: what to pick up, what to craft, and the tiny choices that stop this mission from stalling. You’ll move faster if you play on Steam, Epic, Nintendo eShop, or whichever storefront houses your copy of Disney Dreamlight Valley, because these steps assume you can run the A Rift in Time DLC and have access to Mirabel and Phil.

The Plaza contains the Dream Castle. Visit the Dream Castle

The Dream Castle sits in the Plaza biome — go there first. Walk inside, head right, and you’ll find Hercules beside Phil’s Grecian Urn. Talk to Hercules to trigger the quest; he’ll explain what went wrong and hand you the first objectives.

There are pieces scattered around the castle grounds. Pick up the Grecian Urn Fragments

Hercules tried to carry the urn and it cracked. Pick up all eight Grecian Urn Fragments from the ground near the castle — they’re obvious once you know to look.

Mirabel is wandering characters’ paths these days. Talk to Mirabel about art restoration

Mirabel can fix more than feelings — she gives practical advice for fragile items. Find her in the valley, chat, and she’ll put you on the right track for repairing pottery.

Your inventory should include a few common materials. Gather the resources to craft Conservator’s Glue

Conservator’s Glue is a crafted item. You need:

  • Two Eggs — available at Tiana’s Pantry or Chez Remy for 220 Star Coins each or at similar in-game shops.
  • Two Seaweed — fish in open water around the main valley or the Wild Tangle (A Rift in Time DLC helps).
  • 15 Soil — dig in any biome to collect soil.

Once gathered, go to any crafting station, select the Hercules quest icon, and craft Conservator’s Glue. Return to Hercules and tell him you’ve made it so the quest advances.

How do I craft Conservator’s Glue?

Collect two Eggs, two Seaweed, and 15 Soil, then use any crafting bench and select the glue from the Hercules quest list. If you’re short on eggs, check Tiana’s or Chez Remy after their stock refresh.

Your clothes will get dirty working with glue and pigments. Dress up in rustic clothing

Change into three rustic-tagged items so Hercules won’t judge your fashion choices while you work. Open the wardrobe, click the Hercules quest icon to filter rustic pieces, and equip any three items.

Hercules and Phil live where the workshop clutter accumulates. Visit Hercules and Phil’s house

With your outfit on and glue plus all eight fragments in inventory, go to their house. Hand the fragments and the Conservator’s Glue to Hercules so you can start the restoration puzzle.

The orb sits over the workbench like a game console. Interact with the orb to glue the Grecian Urn Fragments together

Approach the crafting station and trigger the orb puzzle. It’s a placement puzzle: pick pieces from the tray, rotate them, and drop them where they belong. Think of the shapes as negative space — the right piece snaps into the obvious hole.

Where are the Grecian Urn fragments located?

They’re scattered on the castle grounds near the Dream Castle in the Plaza. If you’ve talked to Hercules and some fragments are missing, circle the immediate courtyard — they don’t wander far.

Once the pieces are placed, talk to Hercules; you’ve stitched the urn back together but it still needs decoration to meet Phil’s standards.

You’ll need three distinct colors to brighten the urn. Gather primary-color gemstones

Hercules wants gemstones to make powders. Bring one blue, one red, and one yellow gemstone. Acceptable picks:

  • Blue: Aquamarine, Blue Zircon, Pure Ice, Sapphire, or Star Sapphire.
  • Red: Garnet, Ruby, or Spinel.
  • Yellow: Citrine or Topaz.

Carry one of each color in your inventory and give them to Hercules; he’ll convert them into Gemstone Powders you can apply to the urn.

What gemstones work for the quest?

Any of the listed blue, red, and yellow options will work; choose gems you already have rather than farming new ones, unless you want to trade on community marketplaces or check your stash on PC versions (Steam/Epic) for convenience.

The restored urn sits on the workbench waiting for color. Add the Gemstone Powders to the Grecian Urn in Phil’s house

Return to the house, interact with the urn, and drag each Gemstone Powder onto it. A Restored Grecian Urn will drop nearby — pick it up and give it to Phil to see his reaction.

Phil treasures theatrical displays. Place Phil’s Grecian Urn outdoors where it can sparkle

Place the Restored Grecian Urn anywhere outdoors in the valley so Phil can show it off. Once it’s placed, speak to Hercules one last time to wrap up the quest.

The urn, now a small sun among your decorations, will earn you friendship progress and a charming piece for your Valley layout.

If you want more quiet tasks after finishing this, consider rooms in Olaf’s Grand Exhibition: Peaceful Meadow, Dazzle Beach, Forest of Valor, and Glade of Trust — they give steady rewards and look great in screenshots.

You’ve repaired, powdered, and placed an urn — will you tuck it into a quiet corner or parade it in the Plaza for everyone to argue over?
