Complete Grown-Up Things Quest Walkthrough | Disney Dreamlight Valley

Pooh found a toy under his bed and blinked like he’d misplaced a whole season. I stood in his tiny house, holding driftwood and a question about grown-ups. You will walk these same steps, and I’ll point where traps and shortcuts hide.

I’ve run this quest a few times on PC via Steam and tested small variants on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation; the sequence never changes, only how fast you move. Read this the way you would follow a recipe in the kitchen: short, exact, and with a clear order. If you bought Disney Dreamlight Valley for $29.99 (€28), you want those minutes spent well.

My first glance at Pooh’s wardrobe told me everything about the quest

Style matters here—Winnie the Pooh judges grown-up status by apparel. To start the Grown-Up Things quest you must wear an outfit that includes one elegant item, one black item, and one professional item. Once you’re wearing clothes that check all three boxes, meet Pooh and show off your grown-up look to trigger the next stage.

The garden smelled of cut grass when I stepped into Drowsybloom Acre

Cleaning is Pooh’s idea of adulting, so your next tasks are practical and visible. You’ll remove corrupted Honey Swirls across Drowsybloom Acre to recover toys: a Toy Car and Beach Toys. Only two swirls contain the items you need; scan each swirl and watch for ones that contain visible objects.

How do I catch the Toy Butterfly?

The Toy Butterfly will dart through Drowsybloom Acre—its motion feels improvisational, a little taunting. The Toy Butterfly was a comet across the glade, so be ready to chase. If you struggle to keep up, eat meals crafted with Honeyglow Woods recipes to gain a temporary gliding boost; I used plates from the Honeyglow set to close distance faster.

I counted fences as I planned the decoration layout

Before decorating, you’ll also craft any Honeyglow Flower Pot. Pick one of the four color recipes at the workbench. The table below lists materials for each:

The hedges were still damp when I started placing paths

For the decorating requirement you must place 12 fences, 12 paths, and one Honeyglow Flower Pot in the Drowsybloom Acre region. Placement is temporary for quest completion, so use cheap assets or repeatable decorations if you want to tidy up afterward. When you’ve placed everything, talk to Pooh to progress.

The floorboards inside Pooh’s house creaked underfoot

Head inside Pooh’s house to clear the corrupted Honey Swirl there and collect another toy. Afterward, you’ll place toys back on shelves: interact with the four sparkling spots around the house to return each item. While shelving, you’ll spot a strange object stuck under the bed—talk to Pooh about it, then use a piece of Driftwood on the sparkling spot at the right side of the bed to free it.

Where are the Honey Swirls in Drowsybloom Acre?

They cluster near natural features: beside paths, around trees, and near the wishing well. Two specific swirls contain toys; they show items inside. Use a scouting pass across the map—turn camera angles, check behind fences, and look into corners. Community hubs like Reddit and GameFAQs often annotate exact coordinates if you want a visual map.

The key glinted beside the wishing well under a low sun

After freeing the bed item, a locked green chest spawns nearby. Talk to Pooh, then pick up the Toy Butterfly from the back wooden shelf and hand it to him. Follow Pooh and the Toy Butterfly through Drowsybloom Acre to the left of the wishing well—there lies a sparkling golden Butterfly Key. Pick it up and use it on the green chest inside Pooh’s house.

The conversation after the chest opened felt like finishing a small puzzle

Open the chest and talk with Winnie the Pooh about what you found. The locked chest became a stubborn riddle, and the dialogue wraps the quest. Once you speak with Pooh after opening it, the Grown-Up Things quest completes and you’ll have progressed his friendship line.

If you want help plotting exact spawn points, community tools and trackers on Steam Workshop and fan wikis list coordinates and screenshots—I use those for speed runs. Want a follow-up on rewards, or a quick map of where those two Honey Swirls hide on Switch versus PC—what should I map next?
