Mickey Quest: All Pete Motif Locations in Dreamlight Valley

Mickey Quest: All Pete Motif Locations in Dreamlight Valley

You step into Mickey’s yard and the quest log blinks like a small, impatient clock. I felt a sudden itch—one tiny icon stood between me and the reward. That little detail makes this hunt more personal than it looks.

The town buzzes differently when an event drops — your first move in the Picture Pursuit: Mickey quest

I’ll keep this tight and usable. You must talk to Mickey to start the quest; the log won’t fill until he gives you the prompt. From there the mission spreads across two homes: Mickey’s house and Goofy’s house. Your job is simple in sentence, tricky in practice — locate four hidden Pete Motifs and then return to Mickey to finish the task.

  • Speak with Mickey to accept the quest.
  • Search both homes — this quest uses two interior spaces, not a single zone.
  • Find all four Pete Motifs hidden inside the houses.
  • Report back to Mickey to collect your prize.

How many Pete Motifs do I need to find?

There are four Pete Motifs in total for the Picture Pursuit: Mickey quest. Two sit in Mickey’s house and two hide in Goofy’s — the count is fixed, so once you’ve found four, you’re done.

Do I have to visit Goofy’s house?

Yes. The quest splits its clues between both homes; skipping Goofy’s will leave you short. If you’re playing on Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox, or PC via Steam the layout is identical across platforms — these screenshots match the in-game placements.

A simple fact: small stickers hide in small corners — exact Pete Motif locations and how to grab them

I’ll walk you room-by-room so you don’t circle the same sofa twice. The motifs are a needle in a haystack, but once you know the furniture to check, the hunt takes seconds.

  • Pete Motif 1 — On Mickey’s bed. Enter Mickey’s bedroom, look left toward the bed. The motif sits on the blanket on top.

  • Pete Motif 2 — On Mickey’s fridge. From the entry, walk straight to the back wall and angle slightly right into the kitchen. Check the side of the fridge closest to you; the motif is stuck there.

  • Pete Motif 3 — On Goofy’s bed. Enter Goofy’s home, move toward the back wall, then turn right and look down at the blanket covering his bed — the motif rests there.

  • Pete Motif 4 — On the couch in Goofy’s house. Walk forward to the fireplace, then turn left to face the couch with yellow Mickey and Minnie cushions. The blue Pete Motif sits on the center pillow.

Your searchlight is a neon sign cutting through the clutter: once you know the furniture to check, you’ll stop wasting time scanning walls. If you want follow-up hunts, the event also includes quests to find Walrus Motifs for Merlin and Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum Motifs for Alice — those are handled the same way, house-by-house.

I keep a checklist on my phone when I run these events; it saves minutes and frustration. Do you think badges and tiny stickers change how we play, or are they just clever padding for quest menus?
