Updated on April 15, 2026: Added Ryu Ishiguro and updated Yuta Okkotsu since it was fixed.
I watched my squad collapse in the last seconds because of one careless clan choice. You feel that chill—the enemy punishes your setup and the match swings away. I rebuilt this tier list so you don’t have to learn that the hard way.
I’m Ryu-level obsessive about numbers and timing, and I’ll walk you through picks that win more fights than they lose. You’ll get clear rulings for PVP and PVE, fast tradeoffs, and where to spend your rerolls. Read like you’re on a coach’s hot seat: I’ll tell you what to pick and why.
Pro duels hinge on one misplayed active. KAIZEN Clan Tier List – Best Clans [RYU]

Choose clans for where you fight most: PVP or PVE. For PVE almost every high-rarity clan performs; the real difference is ceiling and speed of progression. For PVP you must respect animation windows—those actives are measurable risks. I rank the clans below by how much they change your play in duels and raids, and I call out when flexibility matters.

All Clan Rankings
| All Clans | PVP and PVE Rankings | Clan Stats |
|---|---|---|
![]() IshigoriMythic |
PVP: B-Tier PVE: A-Tier Great flat damage boost for CE builds, but confined to Cursed Energy setups. If you run Weapon or Fighting Style, Ishigori’s active feels locked out. Pick it when your kit revolves around CE bursts. |
Stat Bonuses +10 Melee +10 Cursed Energy +9 Stamina +13 Defense +6 Weapon +3.75% Cursed Energy DMG +3.75% Health +8% Max Cursed Energy Clan Ability: Flawless Flow — Activate for 1.3x CE, 1.15x CE Damage and increased Granite Rain range. |
![]() OkkotsuMythic |
PVP: A-Tier PVE: A-Tier A practical choice for mixed builds: Okkotsu’s global buff applies to weapons too, so you don’t feel trapped into CE-only gear. It’s safe and reliable—good for YouTubers and streamers who showcase flexible builds. |
Stat Bonuses +7 Melee +18 Cursed Energy +8 Stamina +7 Defense +6 Weapon +9% Cursed Energy DMG +10% Max Cursed Energy Clan Ability: Cursed Overflow — Activate for a global damage buff. |
![]() KashimoMythic |
PVP: S-Tier PVE: S-Tier If you run Mythical Beast Amber, Kashimo turns fights into your control game. The Shock application and massive MBA damage make it lethal in gang fights and competitive duels. When it lands, matches shift like a pressure cooker releasing steam. |
Stat Bonuses +10 Cursed Energy +9 Stamina +13 Defense +6 Weapon +4% CE Damage +3.5% Health +7.5% Max CE Clan Ability: Mythical Beast Transformation — Activate for MBA damage increases, global damage multiplier, movement and attack speed buffs, dash range and a chance to apply Shock. |
![]() GojoMythic |
PVP: S-Tier PVE: A-Tier Infinity is a defensive monster in duels. It eats M1 squeezes and forces enemies to commit to risky plays. You will burn CE while holding it—so invest in energy if you want to sit behind the shield consistently. |
Stat Bonuses +10 Melee +15 Cursed Energy +10 Stamina +10 Defense +7 Cursed Energy Damage +20% Max Cursed Energy Clan Ability: Infinity — Activate to create an invisible barrier that slows nearby movement and reduces incoming attacks while consuming CE. |
![]() SukunaMythic |
PVP: B-Tier PVE: A-Tier Sukuna is raw DPS. The Mark and King of Curses synergy are excellent for boss damage. In PVP you must respect the endlag—play it when you can bait or finish, not when you’re the primary engager. |
Stat Bonuses +10 Melee +12 Cursed Energy +13 Stamina +13 Defense +9% Cursed Energy Damage +13% Max Cursed Energy Clan Ability: Sukuna Mark (Cost 500 CE) — Activate to increase damage, movement, defense and alter dash/cleave properties. |
![]() HakariMythic |
PVP: A-Tier PVE: A-Tier The gamble mechanic is high variance but powerful. Even without flipping coins, the passive dodge and defensive stats are meaningful. If you can read opponents, the wins are huge; if you get stunned on a flip, it stings. |
Stat Bonuses +9% Dodge Chance +8 Melee +9 Cursed Energy +15 Stamina +18 Defense +5% Cursed Energy Damage +9% Cursed Energy Clan Ability: Lucky Flip — Flip a coin for a random buff or debuff (50s duration, 1m CD, 250 CE). Buffs include CE increase, dodge, HP, or damage; debuffs include speed reduction or a 5s stun. |
![]() KamoMythic |
PVP: S-Tier PVE: A-Tier Massive damage boost plus sustain on kills makes Kamo a teamfight anchor—especially in objective modes. In chaotic pushes, it reads like a lighthouse in a storm: teammates find safety and damage in its wake. |
Stat Bonuses +10 Melee +10 Cursed Energy +9 Stamina +13 Defense +7 Weapon +3.75% Cursed Energy DMG +3.75% Health +8% Max Cursed Energy Clan Ability: Flowing Red Scales — Activate for big speed and attack speed boosts, damage increase, reset ability bar, heal-on-kill and extra projectile on Slicing Storm. |
![]() MahitoMythic |
PVP: B-Tier PVE: A-Tier Mahito is a defensive damage hybrid—tankier than most while still boosting CE output. The active gives significant stat spikes but carries animation risk in skilled duels. |
Stat Bonuses +8 Melee +10 Cursed Energy +13 Stamina +17 Defense +6% Cursed Energy DMG +10% Max Cursed Energy +5% Walk Speed Clan Ability: Instant Spirit Body of Distorted Killing — Activate for big defense, stamina and mixed damage multipliers. |
![]() ItadoriLegendary |
PVP: A-Tier PVE: B-Tier Simple and effective: a 1-in-10 Black Flash chance that scales with consistent play. No risky animation makes it especially clean in duels—perfect for streamers focusing on clutch plays. |
Stat Bonuses +10 Melee +5 Cursed Energy +5% Melee DMG +10% Max Cursed Energy Clan Ability: +10% Chance of Black Flash |
![]() UraumeLegendary |
PVP: A-Tier PVE: B-Tier Freeze chance converts to setup control—no animation required means reliable follow-ups. If you like chain-combo play, Uraume gives consistent crowd control. |
Stat Bonuses +10 Melee +10 Cursed Energy +5 Defense +5% Cursed Technique DMG +10% Max Cursed Energy Clan Ability: +10% Chance of Freeze |
![]() TodoLegendary |
PVP: C-Tier PVE: C-Tier Heavy base stats make Todo approachable for new players, but the lack of a defining active leaves it behind in higher-level play. Good starter, replace when you can. |
Stat Bonuses +15 Melee +10 Stamina +10 Defense +10% Melee DMG +10% Max Stamina +10% Max Cursed Energy |
![]() InumakiEpic |
PVP: C-Tier PVE: C-Tier The best of the Epics—gives Cursed Speech hitbox boosts and decent stats. Still, Epics are a reroll-asap category if you want to stay competitive. |
Stat Bonuses +6 Cursed Energy +6 Weapon +5 Defense +5% Melee DMG +10% Cursed Energy DMG Clan Ability: +10% Cursed Speech Hitbox |
![]() KugisakiEpic |
PVP: C-Tier PVE: C-Tier Fine for beginners but replace early. Stat boosts are modest and there’s no defining team-impact active. |
Stat Bonuses +5 Cursed Energy +6 Weapon +5 Defense +5% Weapon DMG +5% Cursed Energy DMG |
![]() UroEpic |
PVP: C-Tier PVE: C-Tier Movement and minor regen are neat, but still an early-game placeholder. Reroll when you can. |
Stat Bonuses +5 Stamina +5 Weapon +3 Melee +5% Walk Speed +5% Stamina Regen |
What is the best clan in Kaizen?
If you only care about raw influence on matches, Kashimo and Kamo sit at the summit: Kashimo for concentrated burst and control, Kamo for teamfight sustainability. Gojo dominates straight-up defense in duels. Your “best” pick will be whichever one matches how you approach fights—aggressive, defensive, or team-oriented.
Which clans are best for PVP?
PVP rewards quick, low-risk activations or passives that don’t leave you exposed. Gojo, Kamo, Kashimo and Uraume are the ones I recommend first. Mythics with long windup actives can work, but only if you force engages on your terms or pair them with tools that mask endlag—think Smoke/Vanish CTs or a supportive teammate who can peel.
How should I reroll clans?
Reroll when you have an Epic or Common; chase Mythic or targeted Legendaries (Uraume, Itadori) depending on your style. Use streaming creators and Reddit theorycraft to track which combos meta players favor—Ryu Ishiguro and several Twitch creators post effective reroll farms and code runs. If you’re primarily PVE, prioritize Kashimo or Sukuna; if you PVP, aim for Gojo or Kamo first.
D-Tier Clans
Rares and Commons are swap fodder—reroll everything that isn’t Legendary or Mythic. Keep an Epic only if you need a specific stat now and you can’t afford rerolls. If you’re active on Roblox, follow creators who test builds live: seeing how a clan performs in a heated ranked match will teach more than a dozen spreadsheets.
That’s my condensed Kaizen clan map: pick a role, match your clan to it, and don’t let flashy actives cost you matches—what clan choice has made you regret a match the most?
