WARDOGS Release Countdown: Exact Date & Time Revealed

WARDOGS Release Countdown: Exact Date & Time Revealed

I was watching a squad on Discord swap last-minute loadouts when someone shouted the launch time. You felt the room tilt: chat windows lighting up, wishlists spiking. That’s the electric hush before a multiplayer game drops.

WARDOGS release countdown

People are already refreshing Steam pages — that’s how you know a launch is close.

I’m following publisher Team17 and developer BULKHEAD, and the date is locked: WARDOGS launches worldwide on Thursday, Sept. 10. Team17 confirmed the date; after public tests and the marketing push, a last-minute slip feels unlikely.

Hurry Up!

The countdown aligns with these launch times:

  • 9am PDT
  • 11am CDT
  • 12pm EDT
  • 4pm UTC
  • 5pm BST
  • 6pm CEST

If Team17 posts any changes I’ll update this page and the Steam wishlist entry so you won’t miss it.

When does WARDOGS release?

I’m repeating the headline because this is the question I keep seeing in Discord channels and on Twitter: it’s Sept. 10, worldwide. Watch the Team17 Twitter and the official WARDOGS Steam page for any final notices; Twitch streamers and creators on YouTube will also be live the moment servers open.

What to expect from WARDOGS

At a LAN event you can see who favours close quarters and who barely leaves the perimeter — that same behaviour shows up in WARDOGS matches.

I’ve tested the public builds and followed developer notes: matches are 100 players total, split into three teams racing to control points. The team with the most bodies in a Control Zone gains points; first to 100 wins. Expect swings and chaos because the last ten points often decide matches.

What time does WARDOGS launch in my timezone?

You can convert the times above with tools like the Steam launcher countdown, timeanddate.com, or your OS clock. If you follow streamers on Twitch or join a BULKHEAD Discord, you’ll also get countdown reminders and squad invites.

Every player starts with $10,000 (€9,300) in-game cash. You earn more by supporting your team during rounds, then spend it on gear for yourself or upgrades that help the squad. The economy is simple but strategic: spend to survive, spend to tip battles.

The world is fully destructible, so terrain changes during a match. Maps become battle-scarred mirrors of the fight: one round a building stands, the next it’s rubble that blocks sightlines like a curtain falling — a chessboard set on fire is an ugly, exciting sight.

WARDOGS is a player-driven sandbox where outcomes come from what you and 99 others do. There’s no public demo right now, but two public tests gave a strong preview. Wishlist it on Steam and follow Team17, BULKHEAD, and community hubs on Discord and Reddit to catch launch streams and squad invites.

Are you ready to push the metagame or will you camp the Control Zone and watch others write the headlines?
