Phasmophobia Weekly Challenge: Guide to Objectives & Rewards

Phasmophobia Weekly Challenge: Complete Guide and Tips

The lights die in a hallway and you freeze—your toolkit is half the size it should be. You step into Brownstone High with one flashlight, one camera, and the pressure of a weekly clock. I’ve been the one watching teams fumble and suddenly click into a clean run; you can learn the moves that separate them.

If you play Phasmophobia regularly, the weekly challenge is the game’s way of measuring you. Each week the rules shift, the rewards scale, and your usual checklist gets rewritten. I’ll walk you through the current trial, the win conditions, and the practical choices that actually move the needle.

Brownstone High is darker than most maps. Phasmophobia weekly challenge mode (April 12-19)

From April 12 to 19 the weekly is Missed Delivery. The twist is simple and savage: you get only one of each item. Strategy replaces quantity—every piece of gear is single-use, so the order you commit to matters.

The objective is always narrow and measurable. How to complete the weekly challenge in Phasmophobia

The win condition doesn’t change: correctly identify the ghost on the featured map three times. That sounds straightforward until you factor in restricted equipment, no setup window, and sanity decay turned up to 200 percent.

What is the weekly challenge in Phasmophobia?

The weekly challenge is a rotating trial that alters contract rules for a week. Kinetic Games and the Steam community use these to test dynamics and to give players a compact, high-stakes task with XP and cash rewards.

The details are written on the contract. All Missed Delivery weekly challenge modifiers in Phasmophobia

Small choices become the difference between a run and a wipe. Phasmophobia Missed Delivery weekly challenge mode tips

I’ve coached runs where a single decision—where to drop your Salt, whether to sprint for the fuse box—flipped the scoreboard. You’ll need intention more than raw gear.

  • Stage your items at the front door. Bring everything you plan to use to the entrance before you cross the threshold; your setup time is gone and the ghost can start interacting immediately. Treat those items like lifelines.
  • Turn on the fuse box first. Tier I flashlights are weak and Brownstone is mercilessly dark. Restoring house power raises comfort and slows sanity bleed.
  • Expect early hunts. With no setup window, hunts can trigger fast. You have minimal defensive gear—stay mobile and learn the map’s loops so you can break line of sight.
  • Read unofficial cues. With limited evidence, watch behavior patterns: a Wraith avoids Salt, an Obake leaves strange handprints. Those micro-clues are often the decisive evidence.
  • Run when you must. Brownstone’s long corridors favor escape routes; if a hunt starts, sprint and loop the halls rather than hiding in a cramped room.
  • Bring friends and split tasks. A coordinated four-player team covers more ground, preserves evidentiary options, and can sacrifice a life to finish the contract—Twitch and Discord squads use this regularly.
  • Guess and reroll. Some ghosts are maddeningly obtuse; make an educated call before you leave. If it’s wrong, reroll—there’s no long-term equipment loss.

How do I beat Missed Delivery?

You beat it by being decisive: power the map, gather fast, and prioritize one or two types of evidence you can reliably collect with Tier I tools. Tools like the Spirit Box and Ghost Writing Book are cheap signals; pair them with movement patterns you observe in-game.

Players check the calendar before a run. When does the challenge mode change in Phasmophobia?

The weekly switch flips every Monday at 12am UTC (that’s 6pm CT Sunday). Each challenge stays live for seven days, then the next one takes over on the same rotation schedule.

Players plan their next session around the next trial. Next weekly challenge mode in Phasmophobia

From April 19 to 26 the active weekly will be Audio Only. That trial emphasizes listening: more audio gear, less visual proof. If you stream on Twitch or clip on YouTube, audio setups and mic routing suddenly matter more.

Some modes were experiments. Special challenge modes in Phasmophobia

On occasion Kinetic Games runs one-off trials tied to new features—these are limited and usually test new equipment or maps. Two recent examples were On Record and Open For Business, each available for short windows to the Steam community.

Name Description Map Date
On Record Try out the media overhaul in this new challenge, can you get a perfect game? Bleasdale Farmhouse June 24 to July 1, 2025
Open For Business A storm is brewing outside the diner…but is it really safer inside? Nell’s Diner Nov. 11 to 16, 2025

If you stream on Twitch or post clips to YouTube, plan for the mode and tailor overlays and mic setups around the week’s demands. Communities on Discord and Reddit will often publish quick guides within hours of the weekly flip.

Two metaphors to keep front of mind: the weekly is like a focused sprint, and your gear choices are like counted bullets—use them with purpose. Will you change your routine and push for a clean run this week?
