How to Look Through Binoculars in Paralives

How to Look Through Binoculars in Paralives

I crept up to Melino’s northern edge and froze—there they were, a pair of panoramic binoculars framed against the sky. You can pass this park lot a dozen times and miss them, and then a quest stalls for no good reason. I’ll walk you straight to them and show how to tick that Points of View box.

Binoculars location in Paralives

On a real stroll, a small park bench reveals the town at a glance; in Melino the same principle applies.

The panoramic binoculars sit in a tiny park lot near the far northern edge of the map. Pan your camera all the way up to the top of the world, then drift to the middle-top area between the dense stand of trees—that is where the lot hides.

If you use landmarks: the lot lies slightly northwest of The De Belcourt household, due west of the big dirt field with cows, and just east of two already-built homes. Those surrounding lots are for sale—if you moved into one, you might be standing on the binoculars without realizing it.

The binoculars sit near the park’s bottom-right corner, perched on the rim that looks out over Melino. They are a lighthouse for the Points of View quest—small, obvious once you know where to look.

Where are the binoculars in Paralives?

I double-checked this on PC via Steam and confirmed with threads on the Paralives Discord and Reddit community; the coordinates are consistent: top-middle of the northernmost map edge. Open your map, pan upward, and scan the cluster of lots between trees—there’s your park.

At a real lookout, you press your face to glass to see farther; the game copies that ritual.

Walk onto the park lot, click either panoramic binoculars, and choose “Look at panoramic view”. The first time you do this the Points of View objective will tick off immediately. Press Esc to exit the viewing mode when you’re done.

How do I use the panoramic binoculars?

Click the binoculars, pick the “Look at panoramic view” option, and let the camera settle. If the objective doesn’t complete, exit and re-enter the lot—sometimes the game needs a second nudge. I tested this on the current build and cross-checked reports from the Paralives developer Alex Massé’s public notes and community threads.

Completing the binoculars stop only clears one piece of the Points of View quest. You still have to visit the community center ruins memorial and interact with that object to finish the mission chain. Think of the binoculars as the opening line in a short story; the memorial is the paragraph that changes everything.

Want to keep exploring? The Paralives community on Steam, Discord, and Reddit is full of maps, lot IDs, and small fixes for odd quest behavior. Moyens I/O’s original screenshots helped me trace the exact placement, and Alex Massé’s dev updates can tip you off to location tweaks between updates.

There are tiny pleasures hidden around Melino—what other small design beats do you want developers to fold into open towns?
