Each tool is limited to roughly 10–20 minutes per week, while Playlab and Intel projects will aim to teach bias recognition and project-based AI problem solving.

How will the moratorium affect classroom devices and daily routines?

Preschool through second grade will no longer use individual laptops or tablets. The district says those limits aim to preserve face-to-face learning and peer interaction while keeping assistive technology available where it matters most.
