How to Get the Jotunn Star Wonder Weapon in Black Ops 7 Totenreich

How to Get the Jotunn Star Wonder Weapon in Black Ops 7 Totenreich

You sprint into Burial Grounds, the shrine door sealed and your team spread thin. Zombies close in and the map suddenly feels smaller. Somewhere above the Lighthouse a cold, metallic star waits — and you know you need it.

I’ve chased down the Jotunn Star across Totenreich for hours so you don’t have to. You’ll get through faster if you follow the sequence and accept that some jumps will cost you a life or two. Trust me: once you have the Star, clearing waves becomes almost mechanical.

Many players miss the dry dock while racing to central objectives. How to get the Jotunn Star in Black Ops 7 Zombies

Start by opening the shrine in Burial Grounds — the Jotunn Star sits behind that door. The shrine is a locked jewelry box; you need three items to force it open.

First item: the Chain Links. Head to Dry Dock and find the big stationary boat. There’s a small room to the left of the hull with two buttons. Hit the buttons to lower a container with a crane, jump onto it, and then perform a wall jump to the very tip of the boat. You’ll probably fall on the return, but you’ll still collect the Chain Links.

Where do I find the Chain Links?

The Chain Links are on the front tip of the big boat at Dry Dock. If you try to climb the hull normally you’ll waste time — use the crane-trigger room, jump on the container, then wall jump to the prow. That sequence is faster than looking for a hidden entry.

Storm Bridge and wave mechanics give simple rewards. The extra items you need

Every map hands out small puzzles that reward patience. Two more items are mandatory: the Lantern and the Chili Chunks.

  • Lantern: Survive until Wave 10. This is a guaranteed drop after you clear the special round, so plan your loadout for endurance.
  • Chili Chunks: Found behind a truck beside the Deadshot Daiquiri machine on Storm Bridge.

What items do I need for the Jotunn Star?

Chain Links, Lantern, and Chili Chunks. No exceptions. The shrine won’t acknowledge you without all three.

The shrine reacts when you finish small rituals. How to trigger the shrine sequence

The Burial Grounds basement holds the active puzzle space. Place the Lantern on the central tomb in the basement room that opens with the Chain Links.

Placing the Lantern triggers a lockdown. Kill the spawned zombies, then use the wall constellation panels. With the shrine entrance behind you as orientation, press the panels in this order: Left, Right, Back, Front. Do it wrong and you’ll reset the encounter.

You’ll be tracking a spectral guide across the map. Following Astrid to the Lighthouse

The ghost appears if you solved the constellation puzzle correctly. Astrid is a lighthouse keeper guiding you — follow her path closely.

Once the ghost spawns it will walk toward the Lighthouse. If it stops, feed it by killing nearby zombies until the spectre resumes. Take the zipline to the Lighthouse area, and watch the ghost create platforms you can climb. Enter the Lighthouse through a broken side entrance, then use stairs and platforms to reach the top.

Can you Pack-A-Punch the Jotunn Star?

Yes. Once you reach the top of the Lighthouse the Jotunn Star sits waiting. You can upgrade it at a Pack-A-Punch station just like other Wonder Weapons. I recommend saving parts and souls for the upgrade before you grab the Star if you’re planning on holding high rounds.

Keep these practical notes in mind: pace your Wave 10 push if you want the Lantern, use Deadshot Daiquiri areas for safe reloads, and treat the crane room at Dry Dock as your fastest route to the Chain Links. Activision’s map design rewards repetition; learning the sequence shaves minutes off every run.
